Your key is never locked to verbatim: each payment derives its own secret from it, so payments to the same key cannot be linked.
The payer sends the payment straight to you as a sealed NIP-17 message. Without this they have to hand the token back themselves, and a derived secret cannot be found by scanning the mint.
Adds one condition to the request. The payer must reproduce it exactly, and it stays invisible to the mint unless it is used.
Your key stays in this browser, is only used to unwrap messages addressed to you, and empties once read. Relays hold sealed messages for a limited time, so collect payments promptly.

Cashu Request lets you ask to be paid in ecash. You share a request naming your public key, and each payment derives its own secret from that key rather than being locked to it, so one request can be reused without the payments being linkable to each other, or back to you.
A request can also carry conditions the payer must reproduce exactly, such as a backup key of yours that can claim after a date. Name your npub and the payment is delivered to you over nostr as a sealed message, rather than the payer having to hand a token back by other means.
